ETKAweb

ETKA is the official parts information system used by authorized partners of the Volkswagen Group worldwide to identify original spare parts for brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda and SEAT.

During my time as a Webdesigner at LexCom, I contributed to the transformation of the flagship product from a legacy desktop application into a modern web-based platform (ETKAweb). As part of the design team, I helped create design systems and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, worked closely with the front-end developers to translate concepts into production, and organized UX research interviews to ensure the new interface was consistently developed from the user’s perspective.

The goal of the project was to make a complex professional tool used by thousands of automotive service partners worldwide more accessible, efficient and intuitive in a browser-based environment.
